The Late Americans is one of my favorites of this year it's incredible! His debut Real Life is also fantastic if you haven't read that one yet. Both are campus novels and they really touch on a lot of important topics from race to queerness to class but I loved TLA because it was somehow both a novel and a short story collection. His writing style is to die for!!
What a list! I read Bellies this month (review to come in 30 mins lmao) and I just absolutely head over hells fell in love w it. I struggled w the review so much because I just found it so hard to articulate the beauty of the book????
